CARING FOR YOUR TIGER’S EYE
- Charging: To keep your Tiger’s Eye energized, charging every few days is recommended. One can charge by placing your Tiger’s Eye in a window or other location where it can soak in the energy of the Moon. Selenite provides another avenue. - Cleansing: To cleanse this crystal of any bad energies that may have collected over time, use:
- Sage or Sage Incense. Simply suggest the negative energies release to make room for positive ones as you gently wave the sage or incense around your crystal so that the generated smoke mingles with all sides.
- Water. Water neutralizes the negative energy stored in the stone and directs it back to the earth. Rinse your Tiger’s Eye with water by placing them under directly under natural rainfall for 4 to 5 minutes. If rain isn’t an option, you can also place your stones in a colander and run your stones under a faucet for about 10 minutes. This would also work for general cleaning of your stone as well.
- Salt Water. With this technique, soak your stones overnight in water with a pinch of sea salt. Ideally, if you can access real sea water, that’s even better. Make sure to give your crystal a rinse in clear water afterwards to remove any residue.
